1. Screw conveyors are used across various industries to transport powdered, granular, and small lump materials such as pulverized coal, flour, cement, sand, grains, lump coal, and gravel. 2. A screw conveyor typically consists of several components(see figure above),including the drive unit,head section,intermediate sections,tail section,head and tail bearing housings,and inlet/outlet devices.Where feasible,it is preferable to position the drive unit at the discharge end.This arrangement is more optimal when the drive unit and discharge port are mounted on the head section (equipped with thrust bearings),as it allows the screw shaft to operate in a tensioned state. 3. Performance Characteristics: Simple structure with compact cross-sectional dimensions and low manufacturing costs. Facilitates intermediate loading and unloading at multiple positions. Safe and convenient operation. The cover provides effective sealing along the entire length of the screw conveyor,ensuring the conveyed material remains isolated from the external environment during transport.
